What we check.
Government-ID image
Passport, national ID, or driver license. Photographed live in-app — uploads from camera roll are flagged for human review.
Selfie liveness
30-second video selfie, head turn left/right, blink. Run through a liveness AI to defeat photos and replays.
Face match
We match the selfie to the ID photo. Three strikes and the application is sent to human review instead of auto-approved.
Content scan
Nano Banana NSFW probe + Anthropic Claude vision review on the public profile photos. Anything below community standards is flagged before publish.
Reference checks
Two non-family references, contacted by email. Optional for Casual tier, mandatory for Premium and Au Pair.
Video interview
Five-minute video call with a Greety trust curator. Mandatory for Premium and Au Pair, random sample of 1-in-5 for Casual.

Different roles on Greety need different proof. Hosts who transact at higher price points get checked more deeply.
Self-verified
Tier 1Layers 01–04 only (AI + Claude). Approval inside 60 minutes. Lets you message, book, and view 18+ content. Cannot host paid meets above 500 pts.
Standard host
VerifiedLayers 01–05 (adds reference checks). 24–48 hour turnaround. Lets you host meets, list stays, and run a membership tier. Casual tier default.
Premium host
Top tierAll six layers, including video interview with a trust curator. 72-hour turnaround. Annual re-verification. Premium tier and Au Pair require this.
Photo blur + age gate.
Hosts can mark individual photos, posts, or whole layers as 18+. Unverified visitors see a blur placeholder. Self-verified users (Tier 1 and up) see the full content. Anyone under 18 never sees it — period.
Underage zero-tolerance. Any account suspected of belonging to a minor is suspended instantly and reviewed by a human within an hour. Confirmed cases are reported to the relevant authority.
Photo authenticity. Every public profile photo is fingerprinted and reverse-image searched against scraped databases. Stolen photos = instant account block.
Annual re-check. Premium hosts re-verify every 12 months. Lapsed re-verifications drop to Self-verified tier until renewed.
No paid badges. Greety verification cannot be bought. The only path is the six-layer stack.
